Win a 5-day happiness trip to Helsinki this summer

Visit Finland has launched a marketing campaign called Find your inner Finn – Helsinki Happiness Hacks and they're running a competition for people to join them in Helsinki in June. The winners will be filmed during the visit, and the material will be used in Visit Finland’s and Helsinki Partners' communications and advertising.

There's effort required with this one - they want entrants to film a video of your "happiness hack" and say why you should be chosen, and then post it to Instagram or TikTok. The video should portray an essence of who you are. And you can apply alone or with someone else.

What do you win?

• At least 5 days (private room) at a 4-star hotel (for one or two people, depending on your entry) selected by Visit Finland in the centre of Helsinki from 10th-14th June 2024 - includes food, apparently
• In addition, possibly 1 or 2 nights in the same (or other) accommodation before and/or after the stay (with adequate meals) if necessary and depending on the travel time of the winner
• Travel between the winner’s hometown and Helsinki, Finland on 9th June 2024
• Campaign related activities organised by the prize organizers, such as nature activities, island life, sauna, foraging and campfire food

Video tips: Visit Finland want to get to know you from your video. They say to make sure your content portrays you as authentically as possible – in a creative way. The jury will be looking for: 

• Active participation in responding to the social media challenge
• Content creativity and authenticity and the ability to answer the challenge in a personal, unique way

Competition closes

4th April 2024. Visit Finland will review all applications and the public selection announcement will be in May and posted on their Instagram and TikTok.
