What to do in Vegas on a weekday

Most of us become so overwhelmed with all the work obligations and household chores that we forget how important is to let off steam once in a while. My husband and I had been swamped with work before we decided that it’s high time we treated ourselves with some exotic journey. After in-depth research, we opted for a coast to coast US trip. Since Las Vegas is full of make-your-mouth-drop events and happenings, we decided to spend the first three days of the week there. However, soon it turned out that if you really want to get into the spirits of the Sin City, you need to visit it on weekends as all the stand-up comedy headliners and all popular shows take place then. Nevertheless, once you step into this magical city, there is no going back. We suddenly found ourselves unable to decide where to start. There are numerous places to visit and things to see no matter what the day of the week is. That’s what makes this city unique.

Gamble in the most famous Vegas casinos

The first thing that grabbed our attention were dominating jaw-dropping casino hotels with their luxurious theatres, clubs and restaurants. It’s almost impossible not to enter one of the casinos and have a go at gambling. Although we are not much of gamblers, we couldn’t resist visiting a few of these bustling casinos. There are various games that you can try out and some of the most popular ones are on slot machines. If you happen to be into fantastic microgaming casinos and gambling online, this is the perfect type of game you can play at a Vegas casino. Besides slot machines, you can try your luck at some table games such as Roulette or Texas Holdem Poker. Bellagio, famous for its splashy fountains and 40-table poker rooms, was the first on our list. We also experienced some of the Venetian atmosphere in Venetian-Palazzo with all its strolling performers singing operatic tunes on the replica of St. Marco Square. We, naturally, had to see Ceasers Palace where we watched a popular show called Absinthe and we placed a bet in its old-school amazing casino and had an opportunity to see the world’s top players in action.

If you are looking for some good fun, you can enjoy one of stand-up comedy performances and laugh with some of the funniest people in the world. You will have the chance to watch some of the world-famous entertainers such as Carrot Top at Luxor, Jeff Civilico at the Linq hotel and Casino or Brad Garett at MGM Grand. You will be amazed with their razor-sharp wit and outrageous and hilariously funny personality offering their audiences a perfect storm of fun.

Try out some of the most delicious meals

Besides hitting the table games in one of the biggest casinos in the world, there is nothing more exciting than trying delicious meals such as authentic Neapolitan Pizza, mouth-watering sushi or tasty Thai food in some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. For all the meat lovers, Carnevino, an Italian-influenced steak house is a perfect choice. Here you can enjoy some serious meat and some of the top-rated Italian savory wines. If you like seafood, go to Estiatorio Milos and try fantastic Greek salads, grilled sardines or meaty octopus.

Enjoy luxurious nightlife

The best way to feel the atmosphere of this amazing city is to experience its extraordinary nightlife. In XS at Encore, you can party in style at the sounds of some of the famous DJs and become a part of many of their theme giving parties that are also held on Mondays. Wednesday is the perfect day to have some fun in the club Light and listen to the incredible music coupled with exclusive lighting, performing elements and special effects. It will definitely create some mystical memories.

Go shopping

Like any other big cosmopolitan city, Las Vegas is a great place where you can hunt for some significant discounts. Since a huge selection of outlet malls and stores might cause difficulty in choosing what places to visit, opt for those that are closer to the place where you will be staying.  The one definitely worth visiting is Fashion Show mall at the north end of the Strip. If you are looking for athletic clothes, take a tour to the Under Armour outlet store, which is particularly popular with professional athletes. On the other hand, Bose should be your pick if you happen to be a gadget lover. They are well-known for attentive staff and quality and trendy products. Apart from these, there are also Kate Spade outlet store that offers top-notch shoes and bags, Fashion outlet of Las Vegas which is home to 140 stores and various brands and many other.
