Izu Oshima is the largest and renowned for its active volcanic Mountain, Mihara. Popular islands include Mikurajima, Niijima and Kozujima. These islands boast of exotic white sandy beaches and rich marine species. At Mikurajima, you can swim with the dolphins or go scuba diving. Access to the islands is via planes, ferry or cruise ship and accommodation is easily available.
