What to do if Your Flight is Delayed, Cancelled or if You Unfortunately Miss it!

There’s nothing worse than excitedly arriving at the airport to find out your flight has been delayed. Or even worse – cancelled!

But do you know your rights?

EU regulation 261/2004 states that passengers are entitled to support if their delayed flight departs or arrives at an EU airport. In some cases, there’s even the right to financial compensation. The regulation states that your airline must provide you with meals, and for overnight delays – hotel accommodation and transport. However, if your airline doesn’t provide you with assistance, it’s a good idea to keep all your receipts to claim reimbursement once you get home. Also, try to keep your spending to a minimum.
