10. Elafonissi Beach, Greece

9. Whitehaven Beach, Australia
The stunning silica sands of Whitehaven beach stretch for more than 7 kilometres on Whitsunday Island and it’s one of the most photographed beaches in Australia. Delight in the colours of the shifting tide at Hill Inlet and check out the view from Tongue Point Lookout.
8. Flamenco Beach, Puerto Rico
Flamenco Beach is the most popular beach in Culebra, Puerto Rico and it’s a prime spot for snorkelling, swimming, socialising and people watching. You’ll find umbrellas and chairs to rent, food and drinks, a camping ground and, most importantly, Caribbean sun.
7. White Beach, Boracay
Not only is White Beach Boracay’s jewel in the tourist crown, it’s also a pristine glimpse of nature at its best. You can try snorkelling and water sports, jump off your balcony straight into the aqua water and hang out at beach bars, as the sun sets each night.
6. Anse Lazio, Seychelles
Located in the northwest of Praslin Island in the Seychelles, the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean lap at the edges of white-sand. Surrounded by large granite boulders, the unspoilt beach is a haven for marine life and a paradise for tourists.
5. Playa de Ses Illetes, Balearic Islands
Possibly one of the most fashionable beaches in the world, Formentera’s Playa de Ses Illetes is daytrip central for Ibiza’s party-goers. This will either make you run a mile or jump for joy, however, either way, its stunning beauty is worth a look.
4. Playa Paraiso, Cuba
Playa Paraiso, in Cayo Largo, lives up to its name, ‘Paradise Beach’. A stretch of white sand along the Caribbean sea, it’s part of a nature preserve with calm waters and offers non-motorised water sports, such as wind surfing and sailing. But, most visitors simply kick back with a Pina Colada.

3. Rabbit Beach, Sicily
It’s been named the best beach in the world before, so it’s little wonder Sicily’s Rabbit Beach is in the top 10. The unspoiled nature reserve is on the island of Lampedusa, off the south coast of Sicily and can only be accessed by boat. It’s famous as being one of the few spots in the Mediterranean where loggerhead sea turtles lay their eggs.
