Lanzarote Attractions

Surfing is the water sport of choice here and there is always some fun going on at Caleta de Famara, a village right by the bay. You can find several surf shops, as well as equipment for sale or rent for kitesurfing, wind surfing and other sports. There are many places to see and much to do to provide visitors with a memorable adventure. Tours are always available for excursions around the island. You may want to look into segway tours to help you get around the island. Some visitors choose to simply rent bicycles or a car and take their own tour. Some of the terrain is rocky and would not be a good walk for disabled persons or those who have problems walking long distances. However, public transportation solves this dilemma.
